JUDGE ANGELA LASHER'S LEADERSHIP
RIGHT EXPERIENCE. RIGHT LEADERSHIP. RIGHT CHOICE.
Judge Lasher was tasked with navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and how it would affect legal proceedings just one month after taking the bench. She, and fellow judges across the state, were forced to figure out how to keep the courts operating while maintaining safety during a pandemic and emergency orders. She worked with her staff in both counties and quickly developed ways to continue to hold hearings and keep people safe. Judge Lasher has been at the forefront of expanding the types of hearings that can be held remotely which has kept cases moving through the court system.
Under Judge Lasher's leadership, the 90th District Court will also implement a Veterans Court in 2021. This will serve as a mentor and diversion program for veterans throughout Northern Michigan. View her conversation with Bryan Klawuhn local attorney, Navy veteran, and passionate advocate for our veterans.
The Honorable Angela Lasher is proven as your current 90th District Court Judge with bi-partisan support.
